In response to the increased instability Haiti this past year and the crisis of increased violence against women and girls in Haiti, ODID has established an emergency safe housing project in a collaboration with AFASDA for the purpose of providing support to survivors in rapidly accessing safe, stable housing while being provided with psychosocial services and advocacy to rebuild their lives free from abuse. During this period, which may range from days to weeks, a needs assessment is conducted by a care manager and a plan is made to assist the survivor with a long-term housing arrangement.
